WORKING GRANT FROM HIELMSTIERNE-ROSENCRONESKE FOUNDATION

I have just received a letter stating that the Hielmstierne-Rosencroneske Foundation is granting me a large working grant.

The letter says: "The purpose of granting you the working grant is to create an economic basis for the development of your art."
The foundation supports young talented artists and they also supported me with a grant in 2006.

In Germany, New Zealand, China, Hondouras, South Africa and many other countries, the screenprints are exhibited from 10th June. In Denmark from Sunday 6th June at Augustiana in Sønderborg.

Screenprints as collectors item
There is a huge interest in these very exclusive screenprints.
The measurement of a screenprint is 84x60 cm, limited edition of only 210 numbered and signed copies.
The screenprint is printed on 100% acid free Hahnemühle paper (Museum Etching 340 gsm), and is 100% light fast.
FIFA's logo is imbossed in the paper, marked with the official FIFA hologram label.

The book is written by Bente Jensen, the director of Kunstpakhuset Ikast and Trine Ross, art critic at Politiken.

FUNDING FROM THE DANISH ARTS COUNCIL

I am very grateful as I have just received funding from the Danish Arts Council for my participation in the exhibition "Global Village" in Alkmaar/Amsterdam in January 2010.

ART & FIFA 2010 WORLD CUP SOUTH AFRICA

The World Cup is held in South Africa in 2010 and for the first time ever in Africa. FIFA has decided to choose 5 artists from each of the 32 qualified countries to create an art work and in this way represent their country.

I am happy to inform you that I'm one of the 5 chosen artists. The other artists are Bjørn Eriksen, Frodo Mikkelsen, Asbjørn Lønvig and another not yet published artist.

The paintings will be exhibited in the 32 countries and there will be made a lito of each art work in a limited edition, numbered and signed.
