GLOBAL VILLAGE - EXHIBITION IN HOLLAND

I'm showing my stil life for the first time in Holland at the Global Village exhibition. The Danish Arts Council has funded my participation in this exhibition.

Global Village is an exhibition with almost 70 artists show their innovating work (like installation, video and digital art). The artists are coming from all 6 continents; Europe, North and South America, Africa, Asia and Australia.

The Global Village exhibition will take place in the Grand Church of Alkmaar from 22 till 31 January 2010. The Grand Church of Alkmaar dates from the 16th century and lays in the heart of the centre of Alkmaar . In this beautiful Gothic interior with over 3.000 m2 of exhibition space the innovating art will be exhibited.

The exhibition is curated by the Stiching White Cube.

Fernisage: Friday 22 January: open from 19:00 till 22:00 hours;
from 19.30 hours: performances by Mi-hyan Sook and Christine Clinckx and music by Omniphobe and THE FEEL .

Official opening Saturday 23 January: open from 11:00 till 18:00 hours;
from 15.00 hours: opening by Ronald Kraayeveld, chief editor Tableau Fine Arts Magazine, performance by Mi-hyun Sook and music by visual-sound artist Riemer Kingma , Musicians without Border/Srben and Jimmy Karakusevic & friends.

24 till 30 January: open from 11:00 till 17:00 hours (closed on Monday)

Sunday 31 January: open from 11:00 till 17:00 hours; from 15.30 hours: music by PIP
