No 7, Art tower of langeland

Jonna Pedersen has been commissioned to create an artwork for one of the Art Towers of Langeland, old transformer towers made into "galleries".

Each tower only covers 1.5m x 1.5m, but has 8m to the ceiling. The artist found inspiration in Queen Margrete 1, (1353-1412) who united Danmark, Norway and Sweden and was an extraordinary woman. She is a historical role model of diplomatic strength and the ability to unite people – qualities that are more important today than ever.

Opening: 31 May 2025 at 10 am
Art Tower 7, Skovsbovej 22, 5900 Rudkøbing
Open 24/7 until May 2028.
